The Trojan Horse

In the story, the Iliad, the Geeks breach the city walls of Troy by hiding inside a giant wooden horse presented as a gift to the Trojans. The Trojans bring the horse inside the city walls and at night the Greeks come out from the horse and attack the Trojans. However in real life the city thought to be Troy appeared to be destroyed by an earthquake and not a war. The trojan horse could have been a metaphor for Poseidon, a god associated with horses who was both the god of the seas and earthquakes.

the lives of leaders

The lives of great leaders shows them achieving great things and overcomming setbacks and obstacles when they come to them. I dont nessesarily think less of leaders who show weakness or encounter failure because everybody does that, I just see more in leaders who overcome their weakness and when they fail they come back and try again. One great leader was Geronimo. He was a native american leader who fought against mexico and the u.s. for their expansion into apache territory.

10/14 blog no alphabet

Life would be alot different if there were no alphabet. For starters there would definatly be no internet. Everything from this point on would have to be recorded through pictures or voice recordings. Learning things would be much more difficult because you would have to have dirrect learning from an individual instead of a book or the internet. Overall I think living in society would be made much harder without an alphabet.

resume

This was the first time I have ever written a resume and didnt know where to start. Before I started on the resume I first looked up how to write one. On my resume I started with my information such as name, phone numbers, and address. Next I put my objectives, skills, work experience, education, and one last addition. I tried to think of what employers would look for in an employee and included that in my resume.

Introduction

My name is Brodie Jernigan and I am 18 years old. I currently live in Akron, Ohio where I have lived since I was 3. I moved here from Munroe Falls, Ohio where I really wish I still lived. I dont like living in the city and probably never will. I currently live with my mom and dad, I also have a girlfriend, Johanna Chang, shes also an Ohdela student. My favorite hobbies are fishing and hiking, closely followed by eating and sleeping. I have always loved being outdoors. I plan on going to Akron University for either biology or earth science. I dont know exactly what I want to do yet but my dream job would be doing something outdoors perferably with animals.
